hello, who has had experience with using this please? It's not available here in the US but I have talked to several folks who have used it and like it. My LLMD is probably open to using it.

I know it is a common macrolide although I have not seen it used in Lyme very much. i assume that is what you would be using it for?
its a good macrolide tho and crosses the bbb more effectively than any other macrolide in the US.
easily ordered online and inexpensive.

ps- i rotate biaxin zith and roxy (all macrolides) with the other clsses or abx i take regularly

I'm getting great results with roxy and I've only been on it a little over a month. I started using it when my insurance refused to pay for azithromycin.
I started at 150mg twice a day, but after a couple of weeks felt that I was regressing so I increased the dose to 300mg twice daily. I started feeling better right away. I've been on that dose for less than 6 weeks now and my head is really clear. I have more energy and the numbness in my hands is gone. When I'm tired my hands will still shake a little, but just a little. These improvements are proof to me that roxy gets into the brain better than azithromycin and many other antibiotics I've been on.
I'm also on Mepron and artemesinin, which I've been on for about a year, and primaquine, which I've been on for a few months.
The improvement in the brain symptoms (brain fatigue, foggy brain, etc.) are incredible. Even just a couple of months ago it was really bad and I was unable to have more than a few productive hours during the day.

Hi, is this also known as Biaxin? If so, can you please let me know if any of you taking it has had stomach issues with this? I am really med. sensitive in this area, and have just recently been rxed this med.

Roxithromycin is not the same as Biaxin.
Roxithromycin does not need a prescription.
Roxithromycin can be purchased online...some use Canandian pharmacies and others use edrugone.com.

I was just on edrugone.com - pretty interesting how Americans are stuck with Zithromax at 5 dollars per pill when the rest of the world has access to Roxi at 28 cents per pill.
