Hi all. I am taking Biaxin for a sinus infection. After 3 days, yesterday, my neck felt great and loose. Last night right before I went to bed th room starting to spin. I still have vertigo today, but not as bad. I am also in a very bad mood, yesterday I felt great. Please let me know if someone else has felt this way. I really thought my bad Lyme disease was under control.

I've been taking Biaxin for about a month, along with Alinia and Diflucan. I've had vertigo for the past three weeks and been very cranky. My LLMD said it's a herx and is just lasting a really really long time. So, I definitely know what you're feeling. I'll be interested to see what anyone else responds since this vertigo really makes life tough and I'm still worried about bad reactions to the meds, not just a herx.

CRAZY!!!! I'm SURE of it!!!! [lol]

NOPE ... sounds like a herx. Biaxin was a great drug for me during lyme treatment.

Hope you feel better soon!!! [Cool]

Ginger tea or ginger capsules may help the vertigo.

It sounds like a herx to me. I still have those occasionally - most of the time when I switch to a new med or up the dosage of one.

My heart goes out to you since I've had bouts of vertigo that I thought would have me hanging over a toilet non stop.

I did a LOT of experimenting after perscrition meds weren't fixing it.

For me personally, Bonine believe it or not, settled down the feeling of all that motion. Then to settle the stomach, I was drinking ginger tea.

It's a miserable place to be and hopefully it will settle down REALLY soon.

Some have said antihistamines will help and have tried things like Benedryl if it's at night time since it may make you tired too.

Although if you are spinning, you may prefer sleeping in the day to that feeling.

Good luck.

Cathy
