Hi,
I was tested last year with a biomeridan machine (where I first heard anything that I had Lyme) and came up with a moderate mercury load. I know this doc does IV chelation, but I'd rather not do it that way, seems a little dangerous (then again my grandma did it when she was 70).

I've read that cilantro is a wonderful chelator, if I juice it (I have 2 large bunches in my fridge), do I also need to take activated charcoal or something to absorb the metal? Or does the cilantro take care of it the whole way out?

Thanks!

Ocean

I would look into OSR or Zeolites

Hi Scott,
Thanks, I will definitely look into these! Are you home now?

Take care,
Ocean

cilantro, ALA, chlorella. In combination. Unless you want to do a ready made formula. Chelorex is one. Very expensive.

The above is a safe chelator though not as powerful as DMSA,EDTA. It is all natural and does not have the side affects of the synthetic compounds (DMSA, EDTA)

Proceed with caution. Pulling metals through any form is risky business. Of course, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done, you just need to be very careful.

I tried the zeolites after Gigi first recommended them and it blew my right knee up the size of a basketball. My doctor who practices CAM medicine was very upset and said "just fax me first anything you are thinking about taking".

My problem is not that zeolites are bad, but that my body does not detox well. In fact, a gene test showed that out of 6 genes needed to make glutathione (master detoxifier our bodies make naturally) I only have 2 that are functioning and I am missing one gene altogether.
I was pulling toxins but not able to eliminate them from my body.

So I can't jump on the chelating bandwagons promoted here. I must approach detox from a different angle and it is a MUCH safer angle.

Initially I was inflammed in every joint in my body. I suffered heart palpitations and was extremely sick. I had to quit work and was housebound. My doctor gave me weekly IVs of glutathione, Myers Cocktail and Lipostabil (thins fibrin from the blood). After a couple of months he backed down to every other week then finally to monthly IVS of just the glutathione.

Now I take glutathione suppositories every other day. My doctor says they are just as effective as the IVs and they are half the cost and 10x the convenience since I don't have to drive 3 1/2 hrs for the treatment.

Dr also has me on Pectosol Chelation Complete and Pectosol Detox Complete and I have been taking them for 11 mths.

I also eat lots of cruciferous vegetables which promote the natural production of glutathione and I take NAC which also promotes glutathione. I can't take whey protein (another glut promoter) because I test allergic to dairy proteins.

I am operating at 100% normal these days and detoxing is the greatest reason why. However, my doctor still says I must stay away from a FIR sauna as it could make me psycho or land me in an emergency room.

No way would I even attempt the Bionic 880 due to my poor ability to detoxify all it would potentially move in me.

So, if you want to take a very safe approach to your detox, talk to your doctor about these things I do. If your doctor has advanced his medical care into alternative, he will be onboard with these methods.

Thanks Feelfit, I was wondering about Chorella..

Luvstoride, Wow, that's pretty scary. I do have an MD that I saw last year who uses a biomeridan machine, does IV chelation and I'm thinking I need to make an appointment to see him again. I'm sure he could help me out with oral chelation and maybe test me with the biomeridian to see if my mercury load has changed at all (and to see if the Lyme is higher since I've gotten so much worse in this past year due to stress).

I'm glad you are feeling better and I've been hearing much about this glutathione, I'm going to look it up right now.

Thanks again!
