It was first ankle, then wrist now knee and other ankle as well.
Very bad pain, redness and swollen is this a normal Herx reaction ?
Was on the IV meds for 28 days now oral meds 1000mg a day.
All started around the 24 day of the IV treatment and has not let up .
Any thoughts would be very helpful thanks mike

ive been having this new symptom as well. Though mine is my chest and the backs of my armpits that are swollen. I do have problems with pain and tenderness in both elbows, shoulders, and right knee. Well really everything hurts but these hur more!
My swelling is corrleated with my menstrual cycle, guessing its a herx brought on by my cycle. My LLMD says they are classic lyme symptoms.
I am trying arnica cream and emu oil to help reduce pain and swelling. I think it helps a litte bit.
