I tested positive on 23,39 and 41 IGM on a LabCorp test. So does that mean that I am CDC positive?

If so, why has no one ever contacted me? Is there a way to find out if it was reported to the CDC?

Or would I possibly stir the waters if I asked questions. Right now I am with BCBS and they cover my prescriptions without questions. Is there anyway that by asking someone about if I am CDC + and it catches the eye of the insurance company that they could deny covering my antibiotics?

Does that make sense? [confused]

Your western blot results are in fact CDC positive. You only need 2 of the 3 IgM bands to be considered "CDC positive" and you have all 3.

Not to confuse things but the CDC itself may not consider this positive IF you had a negative ELISA (the 'screening test' that some believe needs to be equiv. or positive PRIOR to running the western blot).

Not sure if I helped answer your question. Shame, shame, shame on any doctor who wouldn't have shared these test results with you!
