I use turmeric in cooking and I believe it helps.
Probably 2-4 tsp / day. It varies.

I also take ginger capsules. 2 @ 2x/day.

Dry ginger, not fresh ginger in cooking. The fresh ginger is not effective as an anti -inflammatory because it needs to dry and mature (or something)

Turmeric, Ginger, Fish or Krill Oil.

Close to the top three. Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.

It's not natural but ...

LDN (low-dose naltrexone) has been very helpful for me. It got me out of bed.

I'm interested in trying ginger capsules. How much a day is taken? I started doing ginger tea daily and notice it helps. I wonder if capsules would help more?

I'm thinking of trying Inflammatone or Wobenzym.

I used 1000 mg of Ginger and Turmeric twice a day when I was trying to control inflammation from Crohn's disease.

The interesting side effect was the elimination of depression. Chronic inflammation can cause anxiety and depression.

These do have a slight blood thinning effect. If you are using a blood thinner already, check with a doctor before using high doses of either.

Normal doses are not problem.

For a question above, I find ginger capsules far more effective than tea. It can be stimulating so I don't take it after mid-afternoon. It does not "wire" me but could keep me awake at night.

I am very impressed lately with Andrographis. I have seen inches of edema disappear from above my ankles and in my hands. It can cause stomach upset if too much is taken too soon. And it can increase fatigue. Still, I am seeing improvement in neuro function.

Zyflamend by New Chapter

It's a godsend, and contains most of all mentioned in this post. Got me off prescription

Holy Basil is also great (and is in Zyflamend)

I have used an anti-inflammatory very successfully for years. It is a tincture from Herb Pharm....called "Turmeric-Chamomile"(anti-inflammatory) It also has meadowsweet, arnica, st. johns wort and licorice root. I also put hot fresh cut ginger poultices on painful area. Good Luck.

I dont sell this but lots of threads and people believe Zango Mangosteen juice helps THEM, with inflamation!!

Have heard of several of my friends who have had VERY good luck with it,,,best advice I know of!! remaining--just don--

Great thread.

I fill empty OO sized capsules with organic tumeric powder. Two caps twice a day. Effective and also very cheap.
