I am more or less wondering if anyone is told why it is a symptom of Lyme disease?
It just baffles me-It seems that nothing I tries helps-even when in hospital and given very strong painkillers for it.
I was on 9 weeks of IV abx and it seemed to subside, but now is back with vengence!

I experienced this on and off for 9 months. Nothing could ever be found at the hospital.
I ended up having my appendix out in Germany while there having biophoton therapy for lyme.
Dr.W felt I had been holding lots of infection and lyme in my gut.
The pathology report on my appendix said it was an old and recurring problem.

I forgot to mention I have had my appendix, gallbladder removed and a full hysterectomy because of this pain.
I have posted this here before, and noone had an explanation-
I would love to know though!

I don't know about the pain in that specific location, but sometimes a silica defiency can cause pain.
All our nerves are coated with it. It is used throughout our body. It helps rebould our collogenous tissue whic Lyme loves.

You poor thing!
Are your kidneys OK? Maybe the right one is going bad.
Adrenals sit on top of the kidneys. Maybe auto-immune destruction is happening.
So sorry for your suffering, but to be still looking for answers after all this, is very scarey.

I have pain on the right side of the lower part of my abdomen. I have been poked, prodded, x-rayed and scanned to try to figure it out. It is not a cyst, not my appendix, it was taken out years ago.
They actually now think it is coming from a herniated disk at L-3. You know the "dimple" right above your butt? If you could stick something through that it would come out right where the pain in my abdomen is.
The pain is sharp and gets worse upon sitting. Especially hard chairs. The pain itself is contained to an area about the size of a quarter.
I wish you the best in your attempt to figure out your source of the pain.

You could have adhesions - scar tissue from prior surgeries. That can cause a lot of severe pain.
Do you have endometriosis? You could still have endometrial tissue in your body, despite the hysterectomy, which would respond to monthly hormonal changes if you have your ovaries still.
Do you have your ovaries? Ovarian cysts? I have had several of those, even post-hysterectomy.
Have you had a GI workup? To rule out the usual GI suspects.
Have you checked for dysbiosis - bacterial overgrowth in the gut? Esp if you've been treating Lyme and co for some time.
My LLMD uses Diagnos-Techs - the expanded GI panel. Around $200, I think, and very helpful test.
How about parasites? The GI Panel above found those for me as well.
Treating all of the above has reduced my excruciating abdominal pain tremendously. Have not had an episode in... wow, 6 months. (That's a record.)
Hope this gives you some new leads.
Lower right abdominal pain - the excruciating kind - has been my nemesis for 15 years.

One more to add:
Despite having your gall bladder out, it is still possible to have a gall stone caught in the bile duct.
Just one more option to explore.

spasms of the ileocecal valve????
it sits right across from your appendix in the small intestine
consider SIBO....small intestine bacterial overgrowth???? I read about it in "Bells Palsy of the Gut". It occurs when there is a dysfunction in the ileocecal valve, letting bacteria from the colon into the small intestine.
