seems lymies are critically short of Magnesium and calcium.

It seemed my sxs were stemmed from getting worse when I started taking BOTH those.

It HAS to stay in a 2:1 ratio or you get in bigger trouble.

It doesnt happen over night tho,,,give it 6 months at LEAST before you give up on trying it.

AND dont buy wally world store brand Magn. either!!!

IF I quit now,, my pain threshold zooms out of sight!!! So I guess you can say it controls it NOW!!! still --just don--

Took about 4 months into treatment
for the tightness to reduce completely

The infection is the main cause to it.

Also could be from some defeciencys, lack of stretching/working out.

Toxins get trapped in the muscles after they get tight causing trigger points which is even more painful.

Anyone have stiff mucsles that can change to mush overnight? This fall while on cipro I was even more stiff and sore than ususal. [bonk] Then it seemed like overnight I had no muscles - several back ribs even sliped out of joint! [shake]

Yes, it's the toxin build-up, among other things. I assume you are in treatment with a LLMD and all coinfections have been properly assessed.

As for what you can do for this symptoms beyond addressing infection(s),

First, is your magnesium level up to bowel tolerance

Professional massages, warm (not hot) baths in epson salt, Qi Gong or Yoga, etc.

Be sure to be aware of your posture at all times.

This book answers many questions of "why?" and "what's happening?" and it offers solutions for many symptoms.

This book, by an ILADS member LLMD, holds great information about treatments options and support measures:

Infections produce toxins which cause inflammation.

Reduce inflammation = reduce pain.

Far infrared saunas.

From what I understand, Lymies do not sleep well. They do not get the deep sleep that repairs the muscles during the night.

Treatment is number one.

But, I also recommend:

Massage/Chiro
Magnesium
Hot soaks in the tub (with epsom salt, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda)
and drink lots of water
do a detox program

Wish you the best!!
