I get these areas on my head that are very painful and sensitive to touch. It is kind of like a burning pain and seems to get worse with herx. My LLMD never heard of this. Does anyone else get this symptom?

In my case, these symptoms were from babesia (plasmodium) as well as a babesia die-off. Fungal issues may have also played a part.
Other things might cause these symptoms... this is only how it was for me.

I don't get the burning pain, but I often have areas in my head that feel like someone is pouring ice water just under my skull.
I was so relieved that the MRI showed nothing--I thought I had bleeding in my brain or something.

I don't know if this is the same thing but I get sore scalp patches. They don't burn but they are sore. ??
