I was on a rocephin IV for 3.5 months and am now taking rifampin 600mg and doxy 400mg in combination for Bartonella and Lyme.
I am feeling a lot better and need to know how to treat Lyme cysts and other forms.
I've heard that doctors prescribe Flagyl or Tinidazole (Tidamax) in combination with other drugs.
What combination did your doctor prescribe? What was your experience with the combo?
I have to manage my own care so any comments and guidance would help! THANKS!

Tindamax, Omnicef, Biaxin...triple combination. It made a big difference, but Im still on low dose Biaxin months after I first started, plus a host of supplements as well.

I'm on IV rocephin, and oral Flagyl and Zithromycin to treat neuro-lyme. Also, like Wimenin, a host of supplements and pro-biotics as well. Having been added together a month at a time I haven't had a problem with this combo and feel that they are working wonders. Good luck!

My Dr. doesn't do a lot of combo therapy. I took flagyl and nothing else well, other than supplements, nystatin, probiotics, etc.
