Just a quick question... how many of you can eat food, and quickly your face will turn red/hot?
Anyone else?
Is it because of the sugar in the body?...or more of an allergic reaction?
I was tested for allergies and while some things have popped up that make sense, Ive aten other foods and not had a reaction, or vice versa..
So... how many of you... eat food = facial flushing?

i just asked doc this-it is common in food allergies, spicey food and diabetics or pre-diabetics
i get face flushing along with whole body sweats---it is not always after food, but sometimes
seems different than menopause and babs
esp my hair gets all greasy from sweats-its a pain
i'm wondering if i'm detoxing gunk thru my scalp...my meds have been so mixed up lately i don't know if it could be a herx or my ear infection or what
if you might be diabetic better look into that

Thanks for the info. Im due to replenish my Bcomplex this weekend anyway, so Ill change brands and see if that makes a difference.
The only other thing I could figure was that it was related to the sudden influx of sugar into my system (via different foods, fruits especially), unless it was all subconscious, autonomic responses that I cant control.
