Tuna and halibut are just two kinds of fish with high mercury levels (but that may also depend upon where it swam).
Salmon or sardines are very good for us but, only if WILD.
You can google "fish" + "mercury" and you might find a chart listing the levels.
WILD fish is ALWAYS better than farmed for many reasons but I'll not go there right now.
If you live near a Trader Joe's, they have canned Alaskan Salmon and also frozen wild salmon . . . .
You might also cross search at google for "fish" + "Weil" or for "fish" + "Mercola" - both doctors write about such things on their sites.

Since the dawn of time fish have been a main staple in our diet.
I don't think eating fish will kill us any faster than that cheese burger.. or the salmonella peanut butter... or the water in Mexico.. or the lettuce covered in bacteria... or jalepeno peppers..
Or the moldy coffee... or the white bread we were fed as a kid... or the bean sprouts that are not organic... or the chickens not farm raised... or the oysters that live in the stinky mud.
OR.. the glass of wine at dinner time. And this BUD's for YOU!
If you want to eat fish... EAT FISH!
And enjoy! Fry it to make it even better once in a while. And load up on some hush puppies too.
Life is too restrictive to worry about every morsel that goes in your mouth every day.
And we are all going to die from something anyhow.
And the truth is... I rarely hear of any deaths caused by an overdose of fish.
