I have now had symptoms for a little over 9 months (neck/back/joint pain, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, numbness/weakness in limbs, visual disturbances, etc.)
My first LLMD appointment is March 13th, so I'm not on any meds yet.
I had been in a pattern that the symptoms would be worst probably towards the middle of the day on.
I looked forward to going to bed because once I got to sleep, even though I didn't sleep well, the symptoms would pretty much leave me alone till I was up annd about the next day.
Now for the past week, I have been having issues when I go to bed. Sometimes it's before I fall asleep, sometimes as I'm falling asleep.
I start having serious issues with breathing, like I can't catch my breath, and sometimes it turns into panic attack type symptoms.
Sometimes I get tremors/shakiness as well.
Of course this throws me way off with trying to get any rest. i had been taking Benadryl to calm down or get to sleep, but recently that does nothing at all for me.
Any ideas what's up?

Hi, So sorry you are going through this! I have pretty much the same symptoms and mine seem to get worse toward the end of the day into the night. I am on antibiotics just started last week...no chnage yet except that I am sicker then ever extremely exhausted can't get out of bed hardly archy all over like the flu. I take 4 advil and a lorazepam at night to sleep. Maybe your doctor could prescribe some for you.
Take Care, Ann

Star,
Are you sure we were not seperated at birth? Geez, you and I are very identical when it comes to symptoms. I do get worse at night.
I take trazodone to sleep though although thats not working much these day either.

Boy, today was just terrible!
I swear I woke up with the shortness of breath this morning, and I've felt awful all day.
I thought I was going to collapse there for a while this morning.
Like I said before, I hope I feel this bad the day I go in to see the LLMD--my luck I'll get up that day feeling the besst I've ever felt in my life!

star,
have you ever had a sleep study done for sleep apnea; where you stop breathing and wake up gasping for air. normally it's snorers too.
i have it; someone suggested this to me, and my 2 different nights of sleeping overnight in hospital showed this, and my proof that i don't get delta 4 sleep ... body rejuvenates, heels injuries, and you wake up feeling REFRESHED.
i know i haven't had delta 4 sleep for 30-35 years.
best wishes on finding out what's wrong .. and what you can do to relieve it all!
