Does anyone have any ideas on how to make these shakes taste any better? My LLMD added Paleomeal to my supplement regimen and I ordered the Vanilla flavor powder mix.(yuck!) Next time I will definitely try another flavor but because the stuff is so expensive I need to finish the vanilla. Any suggestions appreciated.

Have you tried using a blender before drinking it? That made a big difference for my daughter... she actually liked it after it was blended as opposed to simply stirring it.

I had a PA/naturopath recommend it to us and she suggested blending it with some fruit, such as blueberries. Others mix it with yogurt, but we can't eat too much dairy here.

I think this is a very high quality protein drink, but it is true, the price is not very palatable.

Thanks Claire! I have been adding ice and blending it in the blender before drinking. I will try adding blueberries next and see if it helps. I know they sale it in strawberry and chocolate so I guess I will order one of those flavors when I'm finished with the vanilla.

Yes, Paleomeal is very high in protein and nutrients....just wish it didn't taste like what I imagine wallpaper paste to taste like. [puke]

I've never tried the paleomeal so this may or may not help...but try adding a heaping tsp of cocoa or carob powder and some stevia. I also add some frozen banana.

Using a blender definitely makes a big difference. You can add frozen berries for added taste. It will act as ice, add flavor and they are low in sugar.

Also, adding a red drink of this type will help a great deal. I add it to my whey protein which is made by the same company, Design for Health.
