according to my doctor, it is toxins that are being released from die off... i had it all over my forehead.. she said to do " brushing" and other detoxing to help it... it was bad in the beginning but its gone now

Those drugs in and of themselves can cause rashes. Also, I notice if you "hit" certain pathogens, especially Babesia, you may get a rash. My chest and back are covered by what appear to be acne-like bumps since mepron/zith treatment. I didn't have wonderful skin before, but it got really bad after that. Skin problems are common in TBD, and are exacerbated by treatment, likely due to a herx effect.
What do the bumps look like? Are they skin colored? Red? Do they come to a head (whitehead) like acne? Is there any pattern to them? Do they itch, burn, or are painful in any way?

My 4 year old son has them now too. They are skin colored but raised and very tiny. He used to have them on his body but now also has them on his cheeks and in some parts of his body.
Our LLMD (Dr. J in CT) says it is unrelated to lyme and TBD's. However, I am not so sure. It seems odd for a 4 year old to have this.

The bumps are raised and skin colored as well. When you run your hand across her forehead and cheeks it feels kind of "sandpapery". No discomfort. She never had this before treatment so i tend to think its related.

Do a google search for demodex folliculitis. After treatment for these tiny mites, my skin cleared, but it sounds very similar to what your little fellow has.
The demodex got worse each time I would herx until we attacked it directly.

From my personal experience, the rough feeling scabed over and when I picked at them (not advocating you do that)little parasites came out.
I think the meds/herbs/salt whatever works against them is causing them to surface.
After 3yrs of salt/c they are just beginning to surface on my forearms. I agree with bwillis they can be mites or other unidentified bugs.
