Has anyone heard of people with tickborne disease having more incidence of glaucoma? A friend has always thought she had Lyme but was never really tested. lately she has had chills, not feeling well and eye problems. She found out yesterday that she had glaucoma. I googled some of the tickborne diseases and glaucoma and found a possible correlation with bartonella. Does anyone here have glaucoma or know anyone else with lyme that has it? Thanks so much!

My husband was diagnosed with Glaucoma 2 years ago (after 2 years of abx). He tested negative for Bartonella.

Last year I was diagnosed with Glaucoma (after 3,5 years of abx). My Bartonella test showed an "overcome" infection. But I do have the F. Labs mystery bug (hubby was not tested for it).

We both had health problems before we knew each other but only since we are together we got really ill.

We share some common symptoms:

- Glaucoma
- lower back pain
- arthritis in the big toes
- stuffy nose (sometimes bleeding a bit)

There are 1 or 2 more but I can't remember right now.

Whatever it is - I'm sure it is contagious between two people. My old LLMD said that Glaucoma is caused by infection.

My husband 7 years ago was told he had Glaucoma...his pressure was 24 in each
eye....2 1/2 yrs ago he started his treatment
for Lyme...last spring he went to his eye Dr.
and his pressure droped to 15 in each eye...
last fall he went (also stoped useing his drops)
and his pressure was 12...not kidding yesterday
he went and now its 10 and 11...again i asked
the DR...do you really beleive its Glaucoma?
again i told her aabout his Lyme treatments and
all she could say is..I still think it is Glaucoma... but 12 is considered normal....
She had no answer...

His Lyme Dr thinks it was all caused from
Lyme and the treatments prove that....

yet his eyes are still painful and he still
has very, very, very bad headaches now for
over 7 yrs...Madge

my, pressure was 24 in each eye and the same week my pcp said i had a lot of pressure in my head and gave me nose spray for the pain and poppin in my ear.

nose spray didn't help. 2 days after that visit my eyes and head were soooo painful i slept 3 hrs in two days.
after some research and reading some post here, I asked a friend for some high- grade not laced pure marijuana. I haven't done that in 15 years!! It worked immediately!!! honest, the relief was ahhhmazing!
