I am happy to say I have been symptom free for a few weeks. This winter i wasn't sure if I would ever find my way out of the Lyme hole again.
I continue to have quick bouts of tiredness that include an uncontrollable urge to cry. My family actually jokes about it (you have to right?) because all of a sudden my eyes are welling up.
I usually halt the emotions when my eyes well up but yesterday I started crying for a minute and then fell asleep for 2 hours. Saturday was a really busy day, I must have overdid it.
Is this from a damaged nervous system? Will this eventually go away? What might cause this?
Thanks for the replies. Obviously a minor thing but I am curious if anyone else experiences this.

" quick bouts of tiredness that include an uncontrollable urge to cry."
Yes, a damaged nervous system and deficient adrenal function or HPA axis is still very "tired"
Are you taking adrenal support? Adaptogens?
B-vitamins, magnesium, calcium and fish oil are still your best friends, I hope.
And, you still need to be a policeman for your energy bank. Don't let it empty as it just won't fill up that easily. You cannot afford to spend the last reserve but still need to plan - in advance - where to put your energy.
Rest often. Really. This matters.

Keebler, Thanks for the good advice!
I take adrenal support and the whole gamut of supps. Calcium is one I tend to skip. No more!
I am not sure what adaptogens are. I'll look this up.
Our adrenals are responsible for a lot! Not sure what HPA axis is either but will look this up too.
I find when I feel better I need to push myself back into my old life.
I tend not to plan things as much due to never knowing how I will feel and my self confidence takes a hit when I'm unsure of my abilities. Have to get past this again.
Baby steps right?!!!
Have a good evening.

I'm really to tired to even be here but there are tree trimmers all over the place today so I'm hiding out in my closet with my MAC.
A brilliant ND (naturopathic doctor) taught me that sudden drops in mood can be from low blood sugar and also from adrenal function bottoming out. And they often go together.
