I had posted a topic about itching recently.

But now Im noticing red lines where the itch is, almost as if I were already scratching at it.

This morning there were two red lines right next to each other on the top of my foot.

this all started when I began taking plaquenil, which i hear is supposed to help with bart. and babs.

I am wondering if this can be the babs. or bart. rash I have been hearing about.

Would there be itching with those rashes?

Most likely bartonella.

As a former nurse, anytime someone says they have red streaks, I become alarmed.

This is a warning!

http://www.redlightwarningsignals.com/skin.html

Scroll down to the words "red streaks" and click on it.

You will HEAR an explanation.

Call your doctor and tell him/her about the red streaks.

thanks for your reply. I did listen to the web you had sent, but I do not have any swelling, tenderness, or pain.

Mine itch, and then disappear after about 10 minutes. This all started when i began plaquenil.

I got what I called my "Freddy Kruger" rash--redish streaks--after starting Bactrim.

I did take a pic, and my LLMD said it looked like Bart.
