My chronic lyme-not primary doctor

has no problem giving me referrals to specialists for my symptoms

So last week it was a rheumatologist, yesterday a neurologists, and two weeks from now an infectious disease doctor

So I went to the neurologists for "chronic headache/pressure" and "pins and needles"

I was diagnoised with OCCIPITAL NEURALGIA.

This is caused by the occipital nerve (top of spinal cord)being strained/stressed:

1)from the whip lash that I received from a roll-over car accident I was in when I was a teenager, or

2)from a migraine headache, or

3)from my stiff neck and shoulder muscles/pain

I pick door number 3.

But something is missing, Gee where is my stiff neck and pain coming from?

Stress I know. Lyme I believe (still looking for LLMD).

Lastly, she said that my "ants crawling in my head" feeling was a classic symptom of the occipital nerve injury.

What does everyone else think?

I have the crawling sensations in my face and head. I have never had any injury like that. Mine only came after I got the rash.

What caused yours is open to conjecture.

Hope this helped.

Hi Cathy,

I had the same sensation and it turned out to be bartonella. Some Co Q 10 should be helpful.

Kind Regards,

Julia
