For a whole hour of my first doctor's appointment, my heart rate was over 125.
It was also over 150 at the ER, but they thought it was because my body was jerking all over the place. Now I have been diagnosed with tachycardia.

I also have borderline high blood pressure the last few times it has been checked.
The only comments I've ever had on my blood pressure my whole life is that it's low.

So, I would love to know what Lyme does to your heart to cause this.
What is happening in my body for these changes to happen?
Is it the toxins or the bacteria?
Is it attacking the heart, or is it attacking something else that affects the heart?

Also, I was advised to avoid caffeine....again. This is my 3rd time in a month that I have tried to quit drinking coffee. I really love my coffee. [Smile]

Do y'all think I really should quit drinking coffee? Has it helped you?

And is yerba mate a good replacement? I am thinking no. [lol] I feel like I had my morning coffee after drinking it. http://www.erowid.org/plants/yerba_mate/yerba_mate_chemistry1.shtml
This site says it does have caffeine after all. [Frown]

The Yerba Mate and Caffeine Debate

"According to this side of the argument, if there was even a tiny amount of caffeine in Yerba Mate it would take a whole 100 Mate tea bags in a six ounce cup of water to equal the amount of caffeine in just one six ounce cup of coffee."

So can I drink it?! Can I drink it?! [Big Grin]
