I hate to talk about these things because of my Lymphoma scare last year...but other than Lymphoma, I know that Lyme can do those things too.

My hair loss is NOT noticeable to the naked eye, it's still so thick, it's annoying. But I see more come out when I brush it and I find more hairs on my shirts etc.

I could care a less but I'm a worrier. Exactly what part of your body is being affected when you have night sweats and hair loss? Adrenals? Thyroid? Or what? Is it from Lyme or Lyme and co's?

I worry about it being something other than Lyme. Who else here experiences it? And who knows why?

I had terrible hair loss. My hair is naturally thick, so it wasn't too noticeable, but it was obvious that my hair was not healthy because what was left would break. I would lose handfuls.

Nightsweats are usually babesia ... if they're drenching.

Both have cleared up for me.

Hair loss can be caused by hypothyroidism or poor adrenal function.

Also some meds can contribute like diflucan.

Night sweats can also be a sign of adrenal fatigue,

But like six said, if drenching, usually babesia.

Hugs,

Geneal

My hairs start falling only when I got BABESIA duncani and theileria microti ..I have had bart and babs divergens and garinin for decades so ehrlchia and rmsf...

BUT the two above ...screwed me , my hairs and puit me to death bed within 2 weeks. Also my first grey hairs started than .I never had any grey hair and people were astonished and the tremendous hair falling in 2006 .

They are doing fine now.

TREATING them lately has finally made my hairs stronger and fully. My daughter had the same exsperince..and she is just 16 .Now she is beeing treated.

Keep treating to reach the skull and deeper level to stop the infections...

i definitely get the drenching night sweats... Babs at work.

However, when i used to take fertility drugs I also had night sweats. So hormonal changes could also cause that.

Which leads me to losing hair after having a baby. I know a lot of women who were losing hair after the baby was born. So, could this be hormonal? Which then makes me think adrenal function?

Yeah, losing hair is normal due to pregnancy. It was always funny when mine grew back in, you could clearly see a lot of short hair coming in. Made it look like I had short, trendy bangs.
