I had that really bad too in the beginning. It got better over time. It's not nearly as bad now.

I had it in the very beginning, when I first got sick. I still get it, just not as severe.

Is your current treatment attacking the spirochetes or is it supportive therapy? If the lyme is not being addressed right now, it could be what is causing this.

Until the lyme is nearly cleared this may come in waves for a while.

Are you taking ginger capsules? 500 mg, three x day is a good start to help lessen vertigo and nausea. While tea may help, it is often not a strong enough dose.

Are you taking your ativan regualarily thru out the day, its a super short half life benzo, so you gotta take one every 4-6 hours or you just get rebound anxiety/Brainfog/withdrawal, that is if your a daily user, you can get away with taking benzos as needed for a while but eventually you get hooked and you build tolerence, so you may be experiencing ativan side effects, your better served on long half life benzo like Klonopin and regular intervals. Talk to whomever prescribed the ativan to you.

Epsom Salt baths clear up my head temporarily. Coffee enemas too.

Lyme sucks !!!

i am being treated for co-infections too. Active treatment for lyme. Right now they are sending me to a cardiologist to do some tilt table testing as well. I can hardly hold my head up. What else will help my body detox faster?

I try the ginger capsules Keebler but they really upset my stomach-even when taken with food. Ill try again.

Now how in the world could my heart be contributing to all this? He says i could just have toxins in and around my heart doing it too.

Welcome to the Lovely world of POTS secondary to Lyme. I have it, but my blood pressure doesn't drop like it did. Just some left over Tachycardia and it's positional from sitting to standing. I don't feel it though, at least not my heart.

Now it brings on Vertigo when sitting and the Vertigo gets better on standing and with moving around. Go figure.

Whatever you do, don't fall into the "You have Dysautonomia thing"

We all have Dysautonomia, just to varying degrees. Stay focused on curing your Lyme and if you have POTS, it will go away too.

Im sorry, what is POTS?

POTS = Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.

It is when your autonomic nervous system dysfunctions.

Coffee enemas are in my experience the most effective detox with immediate results.
