After 6 months on Doxy and Cefrine(sp.) I have had 3-4 weeks of chest pain, A ct scan showed small cysts between the alveoli of the lungs and I'm to see a pulmonary Dr. in a few weeks. Is this just ANOTHER lyme manifestation?

The cyst form of Lyme is microscopic - it might help to envision it as a microscopic spore. Totally different from your pulmonary cysts.

For information on the cyst form, this is a great resource: http://www.lymeinfo.net/lymefiles.html

Scroll down to "Cystic Form of Bb: An Introduction", where you can click and download the pdf file at this link:

Also, yes, Lyme and also some co-infections can have strong pulmonary involvement. You might want to do a search here for:

lyme lungs
crushed glass nodules
lyme pulmonary
borrelia pulmonary

etc.

There was a LOT of discussion about this type of thing in the last couple of months. I posted a bunch of research articles and case studies. I have to go here very soon so can't dig it up for you.

Again, there are several tick-borne diseases that can present in the lungs, and Lyme is one of them.
