I'm curious as to what opinions are as to a course of abx following a tick bite.
I have heard of a month of doxy as being thought to be protective and it will cover Lyme, Bart and Ehrlichiosis.
Other opinions would be appreciated, especially if your LLMD has weighed in on this. Many treat with a larger dose of doxy- 200mg twice a day for early infection--would this apply to exposure as well?
