Did your LLMD explain the choice? Is it possible you are on it to treat a co-infection?

Maybe it works, but is not as well known and often used as the others??

I was put on keflex for another infection and was told it is not effective for lyme.
This is one of the few abx that I've been able to take over the years because it didn't make me really sick. Apparently it didn't make me sick because it doesn't hit lyme. For me, it does not seem to work for lyme.
