My friend got a positive titer but a negative WBlot. Is that possible in Lyme? Does this signal something other than lyme? Or is it a false neg?

It is very possible they have Lyme. I do believe

this is more commonly seen in early infections. But

is is common in a lab who is not specializing in

Lyme too. A statement of negative today from one

lab may be positive by anothers standard or by a

LLMD who can determine from symptoms and other

bands that were seen if it is possible or not.
