well after two nights of no sleep i made an appt this morning. got in a 9:30.

doc wasn't too happy when he saw the massive bruises, 4 x 4 and still black and sort of yellow. he said those aren't bruises, they're hematomas, and when they get that big and bad, you need to see a doctor, you're bleeding internally.

ok....

so he said i probably tore some kind of muscle where the hip and coccy (tailbone) are attached, plus having another of those massive bruises.

said he didn't think anything was broken but if it was, nothing he could do about it.

said to take alleve every 8-12 hours. took x-rays and said will call.

don't think he was too happy with me waiting. in fact asked me why i always waited so long aand i said "well you know husband". at least he said "uh, yeah, well, i do, and i understand but one day you may wait too late and then we're going to be in trouble."

so right now i've still got a very sore butt and five huge bruises.

lyme is not acting up but if it is, heck, at this point, i wouldn't know it.

Hey Randibear, sorry to hear that you are still sore. At least your Lyme isn't flaring, that's a huge improvement!

I bruise really easily and get hematomas also. They take forever to heal. Had one on my leg for over a year, so ugly! Have one on my leg right now...

At least your bruises and hematomas are on your butt where no one sees them [Smile]
