On my child I just noticed what looked like an oval shaped bruise on her leg, except it had a clearing in the middle. It is
about 1 1/4 inches in diameter, and 1 /2 inch tall.
We'll be seeing the LLMD in 3 days (Monday). In the meantime, what are all the antibiotics that work for early Lyme? We have
zithromax. Does that work well? She is too young for doxycycline. If possible, I would like to avoid the cephalosporins
and penicillins because of what I read in Bryan Rosner's book about them causing conversion to cyst form and L-form.
We are already using the Resonant Light PERL rife machine for chronic Lyme. We have been doing the Lyme program about
every 3 days but will do it every day for awhile.

If the child has just been infected, antibiotics are the best course of treatment. If the Lyme has not has enough time to get into the deep tissues, then antibiotics can clear it out completely. I would not worry about converting it to cyst form, especially if this is a recent infection.
I am not an expert on which ones are the best, but Doxycycline is commonly used around here. It is treacherous on the stomach, from my own use.
The frequency treatments will help keep the bacteria down, but is more appropriate for chronic Lyme. I would use it often, but a course of antibiotics early on has a shot at curing the disease. You do not want to miss that opportunity, if you have it.

Great that you are seeing the llmd in 3 days, best to get their advice.
Please do not under-treat your child's lyme disease because of what Bryan Rosner wrote in his book about penicillins. He is not a doctor, not a pediatric lyme specialist like Dr. J.
I am not a doctor, but have been reading the literature on lyme and co-infections for years. From what I have read, zithromax is not the most powerful Bb killer and is usually not the first line treatment.
Amoxy with zith would be better, or like Dan posted, doxy. But don't take our advice, speak with your llmd about your child's lyme!

I would like to add that my 12 year old nephew, who has Lyme, has had a course of IV Rocephin. He eventually developed an allergy to it, and now is on another IV antibiotic. I do not know which he is on presently. He has improved noticeably.
Maybe this would be an appropriate treatment for your son, but I am not well versed on antibiotics or the proper protocol for there use.
Green Tea has been shown to significantly increase the effectiveness of antibiotics. I would take advantage of that fact.

You have gotten very good advice above. Bryan Rosner is not any sort of expert on abx. If I were you I'd get a good LLMD and try to knock this thing out before it goes chronic. I use a coil machine myself, but I am long-time chronic.

the exact same color as the other bruises on her leg. So it's hard to know. If there hadn't been the clearing last night, I never would
have thought anything of it. She also hasn't been anywhere where we would be worried about ticks. We're very paranoid these days
about exposure. (Although I know there is no place that is completely safe).

my 4 year old had a mosquito bite a few days ago that got rather large and reddish. I decided not to try my rife machine on her as the effect on a growing youngster is not at all known.
I just rubbed some strong herbal tinctures on the bite area hoping for dermal absorption.

I would go with what the LLMD says. Bryan is well versed on Rife, but I would defer to a DOCTOR when it comes to which abx to use.
The "bruise" could indeed be an EM, but if it's a real bruise, then consider babesia, which causes easy bruising.
