Ever since I got off the Bactrim, I've had some stomach issues. It reminds me of my mini stay on Mepron at baby dosing last year.
My stomach is gurgling a lot, feels swollen, and fluttering. It wasn't like that before Bactrim DS. I wish I never would've taken it for 3 days.
Is Bactrim notorious for yeast issues? I take 2-4 tablets of Nystatin daily.
It almost feels like my stomach is making me fatigued if that sounds sane. lol. A better description would be a valve is permanently on and it won't stop making noises.

You are describing intestinal yeast symptoms. It's logical that you would get yeast from Bactrim. Nystatin cannot kill yeast. You need a prescription for Diflucan.
Nystatin helps to prevent yeast. Of course, it doesn't always work.
Yeast will make you very fatigued, just like lyme disease.
This is not difficult to get rid of. Takes about 3 days of Diflucan and a carb-free diet. That's all.
You need to get a doc to write you a prescription--lyme doc or primary care doc.

Bactrim can cause stomach issues as a side effect too. The side effects sometimes increase for a while when you come off the med, during the detox phase if you have intolerance to sulfonamides.
For me it took 4 months to get back to normal...hope your symptoms go away sooner!
If you can take some vitamin C it helps to get rid of the sulfa. They give it to patients that get allergic reactions from it.
