I was surprised to search questions for "massage"

and came up with nothing.

Just got a massage today (swedish) and instead

of making me feel better I feel extremely

horrible. Any thoughts on that? It is not any

pain from her massaging to hard it is more a

physiological reaction, increase nausea, fatigue

and vertigo.

Too much detox too quick.

You have to have mild massages to begin with. Is Swedish massage more intense than others?

Drink lots of water. Massage releases a lot of toxins.

Try searching just the word massage, we've talked about it a lot on the board.

I used to get deep-tissue massages every week or two to help with pain. Now massages just release too many toxins and I feel *terrible* afterwards.

The next time I go in, I'm going to ask my massage therapist to go light and easy.

I guess I thought it was mild:(

Have to search massage again, didn't come up with anything when I searched in subject line

Terrible for me, too. I just do lymph drainage and energy work now. Much easier to tolerate.

I agree mild. Lymph massage is gentle.

It's great for you! Keep it up and the detox will be less and less. You really must drink ALOT of water before and after!!!!

purple,

i search the word massage up top and did not put in specifics, for entire message, and i got over 500 posts.

you may want to have a look.

it is a great detoxing method as others here have mentioned.
