Hello:

I've brought this subject up before and many others complain of it too, perhaps in a different context though?

Still not sure if Lyme is my reason for this sx, but it is far, far worse while sitting.

IF I am moving, lower legs have NO burning sensations, upon sitting, it feels as if my outer calves and soles are on fire, get up and move, lower legs are fine.

I equate burning with sensory nerves, but could there be a blood or vascular component for this since its so much worse while sitting = gravity vs. blood flow?

Legs are not swollen or discolored. Much of what I experience resembles discussions for RSD, but again, I have no discoloration as seems to accompany RSD.

Another clue, if I apply cool water/cold air to lower legs, near instant, but temporary relief.

Since cool is known to reduce swelling, what could this mean as I've described?

Can anyone relate to this? Could lyme be causing more a coagulation problem than actual nerve dysfunction?

Thanks, [Smile]

A lot of my nerve issues in my legs are much worse when I'm sitting down.
