You need a compounding pharmacy. Most doctors who prescribe this type of medication have one they can recommend. If not, look in your phone book or ask your pharmacy. You can also find them on-line.

I use it. I get it at wal mart.

Wow, didn't know walmart is a compounding pharmacy.
Best to call around and get prices since they can vary greatly between compounding pharmacies. Perhaps walmart has a good price?

Compounding pharmacies?? That makes no sense I got mine both at CVS and Rite Aid pharmacy. If a pharmacy doesn't have it they will order it. I also have B1 IM which they had to order. More expensive then B12 but good for sore muscles.
B12 is dirt cheap at Rite Aid or CVS.

It does not require a compounding pharmacy.

Walmart and compounding? Since when?
You need a compounding pharmacy for the injections, here one of the ones with the best prices and it comes with pre-filled syringes and needles, it must be kept in the fridge.
WildCondor: Thanks for the reply and link!!!!!!

Cynocobalamin is what I use. It works great for me. Good luck on finding the other form.

The price of methylcobalamin varies greatly too. I have seen anywhere from $75 for a months supply up to $380. Make sure you call around and ask for prices before you get ripped off. Cyanocobalamin you can get at any pharmacy like walmart, cvs, by prescription. Methyl B12 does have to be compounded.
