My LLMD recently sent me for Babs and Ehrlichia blood work and told me to just go to my regular hospital for the labs. They were sent to Mayo.

Any idea of their accuracy rate? They both came back negative. I have thought for quite a while that most of my symptoms were from Babs.

So frustrating. He thinks I also have Babs, so I don't know why he didn't care where the labs were done.

I know that the Mayo iteslf does not have a good track record with Lyme, but I wondered about their lab work.

In my experience Mayo is not reliable. Mayo showed Lyme negative through Infectious Disease.

Sought treatment through LLMD who tested through Quest Diagnostics which showed positive for Lyme, Babs, and Ehrlichia. Lab Corp also showed positive for Lyme.

This is just my personal experience with Mayo.

Betty, I Always get copies for my files. Report doesn't say much, though. Just <1.16 for IgG, <1.20 for IgM, similar for Erhlichia.

I'll be talking to my LLMD today - he may prescribe Mepron anyway.

Hey hurtin'

The labs they use are the absolute worst I've ever noted for Lyme and coinfections.

Not only Labcorp bad.. 100 times worse.

It's like they are using people with jelly bean brains to do the tests.

In MY opinion, a total waste of money.

Hope you can get re-tested at decent labs.

Lettuce no!
