I took a big leap and went to the Envita Clinic.

But I am so glad I did it.

I am finally seeing the light. It has changed me dramatically. I have gotten rid of so much crap in my body and I can now take medications for this disease when I was barely able to take a tiny sliver of a pill before.

The IV abx and the integrative treatments together has really helped me so much.

I know there is some divide about treatment but I think that for me both sides coming together are key to my healing and future. I embraced them both and balanced it out and it is working!!!!

Where is Envita Clinic? Was it expensive?

Posted by springshowers (Member # 19863) on :

The Clinic is in Scottsdale Arizona.

It is fairly Expensive Yes. So far my insurance has covered the Doctor visits, the Labs and the IV Antibiotics. I though have to pay for all the alternative treatments and supplements.

I can not give you a quote because each patient is different and evaluated based on test results and given a protocol that includes certain treatments and time frames.

You can find their website and number easily online and they take many patients from all over the country.

I'm glad it's working for you!

Jennie, I believe $30k+ for typical treatment. This is without insurance I think.

Posted by springshowers (Member # 19863) on :

No Seek that is not accurate..... I did not pay that much yet and I am waiting on some insurance reimbursement.

If I had to throw out an quote.. after insurance kicks in and knowing that after 6 weeks...they adjust to your needs.

My weeks after 6 went down incrementally to the 12ths week.. Some people go 6 and most people do not go longer than 12.

So for 12 weeks I ended up at about 18 thousand....
That is a loose quote and it is MY case.. So do not please use what I say as gold.

Thanks..
It has been worth it..

I had to sell off my car and am going to have financial problems.. yes I am..

But before I had no life and no health and was ready to stop caring about life all together..

So .. the choice became obvious to me..

yes it is sad that money is attached to it.

But it seems that is how the whole world works. I wish it was different.

So happy for you Spring. I hope that your improvement continues.

Thanks for the clarification. I was just going off what another member mentioned before.

I'd pay just about anything to get my life back as i can't work, can't earn money, get out. Who cares what you have with no life. [Frown]

I'm so glad to hear it's helping. Spring, we're you CDC +? I ask because you said your insurance covered IV treatment. That alone is a bloody miracle. I was wondering if that wasn't the case if the pricetag would jump a lot more.

Hi.. I agree. I do not care if I end up without my home or cars or whatever. I had no life and nor was I able to keep up or enjoy any of it.

I am actually glad to give it all up.....

I will admit. I was very much loosing hope prior to this decision. I figured I had NOTHING to loose anymore.

Know what I mean?

I am sure many of you have been there...

Well..

Thanks for the cheers.

I hope it keeps going too.. I will be so thrilled.

Blessings...

Seek

Thanks.. I have had a CDC positive test but when i started the clinic we did testing and one band dropped off and I was short of CDC positive and only IGENEX positive.

I do not think that has anything to do with the IV abx being approved. I talked to them and they said they use medical necessity and evaluate as you go through treatment.

I have read others who have been IV for a long long time. Are they all just paying for it? I am not sure if they had insurance cover them.?

I know some people stop doing well when they stop the IV abx so that is scary and i do know the doctors I see will not just keep prescribing it just to maintain you.. Know what I mean?

Spring,

This is wonderful news. I'm so happy to hear that you have made a good improvement.

I have always done both conventional and integrative modalities. IMO, that is the only way to combat this illness. I really like the approach they use at Evita.

I know it was surely a difficult decision to have to sell your car and other things but if you have made this improvement, it is worth it.

I wish you continued improvement and wellness. [Smile]

Hey Spring Showers. This is fabulous news. I may be packing my bags and heading for Arizona. My doctor has approved Tigecycline so I'll probably try that first.

Do you have any hunch of which medicine was most helpful? I know they use many different things. I may have asked you that question before but I thought it would be helpful for this post.

I'm sure that it is difficult to say.

Thanks,

Haley

Yes it is difficult to say. It is a process of sorts and I would say it was the combination and protocol and intensity and integrative processes.

Also the IV administration of all.. including antibiotics. I have tried many things orally and have to say that for me .. IV really has been something that now feels like it is doing something.

It is a process. I have been sick for many years and was very stuck. Everyone is different too.

I will say that the EDTA in oombination and timing to the ABX and other killing of infections has taken layers upon layers off..

Still working on it.. As you all know it is a process. There is also detox support and immune support that included.. So its not one thing or anther but the combination.

I wish I could throw out a key to give others. But its not that simple..

Springshowers,

That is great!! Thank you for letting us know.

How long have you been there and will you stay?
When you leave, do you continue with them via phone consults?

I'd love to know your protocol with them---knowing, of course, that it would be different for each person.

Keep us posted with your progress as you go along. You may be lighting a way for some of us.

BTW, your mailbox is full (not surprisingly!).

Yep. I am feeling better all the time. I worked so hard to have a Thanksgiving and shopped and cleaned and.. I was afraid I would feel bad.

Thanksgiving Day. I felt better than I have in a long time and It lasted all day!.. [Smile]

I get pretty excited on good days.. and I now do not get near as down on a worse day...

What a nice change

Wow spring showers that is so great and so encouraging. I know you have been at this a long time. I have not been dealing with it half as long and yesterday was one of those days, I thought this thing will never go away.

Please keep posting your progress.

Happy post Thanksgiving.

springshowers,

Do you stay at the clinic, or did you stay at a local hotel or something? OR maybe you live there?

Did they install a Picc line?

How much was your room and board costs per month?

I am getting really desperate, I have been treating for over 2.5 years, including for co-infections, and I simply can not get past my worst symptoms.

You can private message me if thats better.

Posted by springshowers (Member # 19863) on :

Sorry you do not feel well. What have you been using to treat. What are your test results?

I will PM you. .too

if you pm'ed amanda, would you mind posting the answers to her excellent questions? thanks.

Posted by springshowers (Member # 19863) on :

Sure..

She asked where I stayed. I live in Scottsdale so I did not have to arrange anywhere to stay.

She as if they install a picc line. The doctor recommends a port and orders one to be put in at the local hospital.

Can not answer room and board costs since I did not have that cost. But there are plenty of hotels and places to stay in Scottsdale.

Anything else.. I am happy to answer.

Springshowers, I am so glad you had great success and posted it. I took my 3 year old son when no other dr. would see him because of his age. I posted our success at Envita, and oh my goodness, did I get bashed. I was accused of being a spammer, an affiliate of Envita, and all kinds of things. We are 9 months out now and still doing well. My son was treated there for 11 weeks, and I have been treated at home via Envita. I feel so so much better. I feel like I have my life back and am enjoying it again. I hope others who go post as well. I realize there is a cost involved, but so does being sick. If someone can do it I would hate for them not to try just because those who have not been there doubt. Thank you so so much for sharing!!!! Hope you just keep feeling better and better!!!!

SpringShowers, would love an update.

Are you finished with treatment and are all your symptoms resolved?

Congratulations on your success!

I have heard good success stories about this clinic from other people that were extremely sick. I would like to know more about the drugs and alternative treatment received and what infections you had. I have been treating myself, getting info from people online that is working for them, and then transferring that to my GP. I am much better, thanks to everyone's help.
