Hi, my 3 yr. old daughter was recently diagnosed with Lyme's. She has been on Ceftin for 1 week so far, and is still getting daily fevers of 101 - 101.5, mostly in the late afternoon. My doctor is concerned -- I had thought that it was normal to see fevers and other symptoms throughout the month of antibiotic treatment. Any experience to share? Thanks so much!

It's either the Lyme itself or a herx from the lyme.. either can cause fever.
I do hope this 4 wks of treatment is open-ended. Not everyone is well in 4 wks unless you caught it VERY early.
