I've been taking abx for about a month and a half and I recently noticed vulva irritation. It doesn't seem like yeast infection, but since I've had no other changes (soaps, etc) I have to assume it is abx-related.
Ladies, what do you do to stablize beneficial vaginal bacteria?
Sorry if this offends....but I have to ask.

I'm also having this problem. I thought it was a mild yeast infection or an external infection only. I just started using a generic Monistat topical cream. It seems to be helping, but I don't know if what I'm doing is even correct, since the problem could be a lack of good bacteria.
I'd like to know what some other women think.

Use Rephresh! Its a vaginal cream, and my dr has me use it 2x a week. It really helps prevent yeast. You can buy it at local drug stores.

Thanks txgirl. I'll look for that. Too bad I didn't see your reply sooner. I just returned from the drug store with a box of Monostat. I'll do that and increase the probiotic dose.
