Brandi, I don't know why WC doesn't accept PM's, but many do not. So many of the old timers contribute what they can but do not have additional time to give for answering PM's. They give what they can.
I know I get several per day and it does take time to answer them. I do not have a full time job, so I can keep up with it, but I have had to turn off that feature temporarily in the past.
Don't take it personally. Sometimes it's better to ask some questions on the main board because others might have the same questions you do.
