Has anyone tried Kratom (the herb) for pain and/or energy problems related with Lyme? If so, can you please tell me your thoughts on it and a good place to purchase it? It is completely legal in the U.S., however isn't in some other countries. It is all natural and appears to be completely safe when taken responsibly.

I googled it - looks like it has properties of both quinine bark and cat's claw. Let us know if you find a source for it.

Yes, it can be purchased online or at local head shops. Some people use it to get high off of, or as an alternative to marijuana. But if taken responsibly, it supposedly is great for pain, relaxation and fatigue. This seems to be a safer alternative to pharmaceutical drugs.

If I end up trying it, I'll report back. If anyone else happens to read this that has used it, please respond with your thoughts on it. Thanks!

I've now used several varieties of kratom so far but still deciding how this can help with my symptoms of Lyme. Depending on the variety you take, it can help with fatigue, insomnia and pain. It certainly won't cure anything, although it does have antibacterial and antinflammatory properties, but does seem to help with symptoms.
