Radha: I have just read your post and tried to call you at home. I will be calling through the day to check in on you.

The vision issues are very difficult as I have and am walking in your shoes and are very terrifying. Do not despair.

What I am concerned with now is your mental health. Depression can be an effect of what Lyme physically does in your body and emotionally your reaction to the damage and disability it can cause.

Please take care of yourself today. I would recommend getting professional help ASAP to work with the despair/depression, finding a support group. Please tell your parents you are this upset so they can help and watch out over you. There are numbers( hotlines) for suicide prevention also to call...

Please, please hang in there... Skater

Radha I'm so sorry to hear what you are going thru.

It is very scary to have those kind of symptoms. Ususally it is IV ABX that will help resolve those kinds of issues. I know you said you are too sick to leave the house but if you are not

seeing an LL ophthalmologist, it is probably really important that you do.

I have the name of one in NY. You can PM me for the info, if you need it.

Radha,

Here is the link for the suicide hot line if you need it. Call for help if you must, don't hesitate.

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/3/19087?

There will be others who will come along and offer you help, as well. Do whatever you can to

try to eliminate the fear and stress: a nice hot bath, deep breaths, meditation, call a fellow lymie; whatever works for you. These eye

problems are very common to Lyme disease. I know that they are very scary but try to relax and wait to hear from others who have experienced these symptoms, too.

Do you have a local ophthalmologist? I think that would be a good starting place.

absolutely Radha, call 911 if things are getting worse. If you are so weak that you are not able to make it to the doctor on your own, I would do the 911.

The eyes and eye pressure are nothing to fool with....you need to get the pressure under control before things potentially become irreversable.

Suicide is not the answer. Take care of your eyes now....and you will feel less desperate.

In my thoughts,
feelfit

Please call a hotline if you need to.

Wanted to let you know that all my Lyme eye symptoms have responded to my drinking mangosteen juice on a daily basis. Mangosteen juice is an anti-inflammatory juice. Lyme loves to hang out in the eyes as well as affect the nerves to the eyes.

The eye symptoms that went away for me in 24 hours time of starting the juice were: floaters, light sensitivity, eye muscle pain and increasing blurry vision - that last symptom which I found scary too.

There are lots of brands available. The one I drink is called Ultra, with 70 minerals added. If you try it, go slowly and drink a lot of water also.

i was able to buy a home machine that tests eye

pressure and it shows that iit has gone down

alot, from 35 to 24, but my vision is no better,

and actually worse, but doctor has no idea why

visionn not better, does anyone have any idea why

vision, the blurriesss and darkness are no better

when the pressure is better? does it take a while

for the vision to be improved after the pressure

starts coming down? or does this mean that the

vision i lost will not come back or improve? is

it too late? please, any input would be

appreciated,

Radha
