Oral Glutathione is not easily absorbed by your body.

To get around this, you can try combining N-acetyl cysteine (often called NAC) with whey protein, Vitamin C, Alpha lipoic acid, L-Glutamine. You can also try combining herbs such as milk thistle, turmeric, etc to help your body produce GSH itself.

It's kind of complicated, and maybe you need to see a more knowledgeable alternative doctor to help create a regimen. The book "The Lyme Disease Solution" goes into detail about Glutathione, so that may be a good source.

Glutathione is an important antioxidant. Drinking alcohol and taking acetaminophen (Tylenol) will further deplete glutathione and should be avoided. I'm not an expert, and I am currently learning all this stuff right now (I'm detoxing).

How are you taking your glutathione?

I believe that oral glutathione is not absorbed into your system and must be taken as a suppository or infused.

It is possible that anything you take right now

will not be working right in the system if you do

in fact have Borreliosis, because the bacteria get

inside the cells. If you have it- you need to get

the bacterial load down before you make too many

judgments on what can work or not. You can't

cover up a txxx with ice cream and expect it all

to still taste like ice cream . Ain't gonna happen.

You were provided with a doctor list on December 3rd when you placed a post in "seeking a doctor" and lots of doctor referral sites as well as lots of links regarding this illness.

I hope you have taken some time to begin looking over the information your were provided with, as there is lots of helpful information there for you and I hope that you find it helpful. [Smile]
