Has anyone had right sided lower abdominal pain. I have been having pain since August. Already had my appendix out and all other tests are normal.

They say it is a neuropathy of some sort.

I asked my Dr. about this he is unaware of it being caused by lyme or babesia. Since I have been treated for 5 years and getting better he said it is unusual to all of sudden come up with something like this. Not uncommon at the onset of the disease but I have been getting much better.

It is quite severe, shooting pain in the groin and lower abdomen. I have been tested for everything. They say no hernia.

Has anyone had anything like this.

Just curious, This is driving me crazy. I want to walk and exercise a bit and I can't.

Need your advice.

Probably intestinal inflammation. Have a colonscopy done perhaps -- or consider the possibility of inflammation with your doctor.

Had that done. But everything looked good. I keep wondering if it could be long term biaxin causing problems.

Any idea if it causes problems after a while.

Thanks!

Katrina,
I have experienced this same symptom on and off for the last 10 years or so.
also had a few different Xrays and scans done over that same period.
the aches/pains can come for weeks or months and then dissapear only to return again.

Lyme sufferer for over 16 years now!!

Thanks for telling me. I was wondering if it is lyme. The thing that seems odd is that in general I have made improvements in many areas. Just wondering why this would show up now.

Who knows with this stuff.

I have a similar pain in my "upper" right side, under the rib cage. Have had 2 CT scans, gallbladder scans, etc. Everything is fine. I think it is inflammation caused by LD.

This pain has come and gone for almost 4 years ever since I became ill. Makes me say the same thing you said......who knows with this stuff.

I guess it causes inflammation everywhere. Hopefully it will get better soon. Looking forward to walking again. I think it has really helped me improve over the last year or so. I hate to stop!

Thanks again

Had these pains (years ago), ended up having ovarian cysts removed. No change. Pain came back. Overloaded lymphatics was the answer. The toxins are in overload in the lymph glands. When lymphatic system is blocked, nutrients cannot get in very well and the toxins can't get out. It's like a road block in traffic - nobody moves....

I went for lymphatic drainage and got a chi machine which helps clearing. It is something that needs attention. If you are not familiar with this, google lymphatics.

Hope this helps some.

Take care.

Thanks so much. I will look into lymphatic massage. I haven't taken that road yet.

Is that the same thing as cranial/sacral therapy.

Appreciate all the imput.

I keep fighting this thing and it seems 2 steps forward and one back at a turtles pace. So frustrating.

Could possibly be gallbladder not working right.

Usually gallbladder is right by liver, but in some cases it can be much lower - I have seen this on some gallbladder CT studies.

So...if you spread your thumb + first finger apart there is a web of skin between them. On your right hand put some moderate pressure on this web with some left fingers + see how tender the web is.

If it is tender it may be the gallbladder.

Do you digest fat well ?
Do your stools float or are they often light colored ? These may also indicate gallbladder problems.

If you have not seen your gynecologist I would.

Many women could avoid ovary disease if discovered

early. Most of the time it is just cysts but

sometimes it can be much worse and called silent

killer by some doctors. 5 mths is long enough to

know if it is not going away it needs checked

out. My sister suffered needlessly for months.

Finally they decided to find out-she had a ugly

brown cyst on her f.tube causing all her pain. Prayers.

Thanks so much to all of you for your suggestions.

I have seen the gyn and had 2 ultrasounds and a laparoscopy. Nothing has shown up.

I think this has something to do with the nerves or inflammation.

I have been making such progress once I treated babesia and I would like to continue.

Everytime I think I'm on my way something else comes up.

Hopefully this will be short lived.

Blessing to all of you.

I had that exact same thing. Lower right side, pain so bad you couldn't walk upright. I too went for every test possible. Everything came up negative. It lasts for about 3 or 4 days at a time and goes away and comes back a few weeks later. Another one of those mysteries I guess.......

this sounds like what i'm having only it's lower left side down by pelvic bone.

last night the pain was a 8 plus. i've been up all night.

occasional blood on toliet paper, hemorroids i guess. very very dark brown stools. but whoa, the pain is unbelievable. seems to be worse at night, better when i don't eat at all.

temp is normal, although it has gotten to 100.7, high for me.

no sense in going to er, they'll just give me vicodin and send me home.

same ole thing -- ibs...
