Hey Everyone,

Over the past 2 days, my husband Roy, has been

complaining of chest pain and numbness on is

entire left side along with his leg and arm on

the right side.

His doctor says that if his Echo, Cat Scan and

neuro study goes well, hopefully we will have

him home for the holidays.

If everyone could keep my husband in their

prayers, we would truly appreciate it. He has

been very sick for the past 2 1/2 years and has

been very hard on all of us. Now that the

holidays are almost here and he is in the

hospital, we are all sad and praying for the

best.

Thank you,
Katie & Roy Reynolds

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to update:

Roys doctor is ordering a declot for his port

scheduled for tomorrow morning. If the chest

pains do not stop, it will be removed and then

replaced.

Also, he will be doing a Nerve Conduction Test

tomorrow at some point.

* My husband has been on 400mg of IV doxy @ 200ml

(4 hr infusion). Today(still in the hospital)

when the nurse flushed the line, it caused a

horrible pain in his chest. Then, when the nurse

tried to start the infusion, the pump only was

allowing 3ml which was making the infusion time

approx 9 1/2 hrs.He was only able to take 1/4 of

the dose.

I will update more as soon as I can.

Thanks
Katie & Roy

Many well wishes from me to your husband. The Holidays are stressful enough without illness, so I know this must be very difficult for you all.

Praying for Roy. (I have a liking for his name; my grandfather's name was Roy.)

Oh Katie, I'm so sorry your family has to go through this. Roy's had such a hard time already.

I've been away for a while and just now read this post. I'm keeping you all in my thoughts.

Stay strong and let us know if you need anything!

Add my prayers to the list please. Hope you all have some answers and a workable solution in sight.

Katie, I am praying for you and your husband. My grandfather's name was Roy. He was a great guy so I am sure your hubby is, too. Tell him we are all rooting for him.

I had a port for 6 years. My husband ran more than 600 IV's through it. They can be tricky. I hope all is going well for him. Let us know. Be strong.
