My endo recently ran blood work and found my human growth hormone to be low.
I was wondering if anybody else tested low, and what natural supplements do you take for this condition?

Thanks

Citicoline (Cognizin/CDP-choline) may help as well as higher doses of arginine. Arginine at higher doses may not be healthy though, especially in the presence of viruses.

Low GH seems to be common with lyme. Mine has been low. It's important to rule out thyroid issues.

With low GH, there may be a t4~~>t3 conversion issue as well.

Mine was very low a while back. I ordered some growth hormone from a company that gets it from China. You have to give it to yourself via shots in the stomach area.

I did it myself since my doctor at the time was acting bizarrely about prescribing it to me. My tests were rock bottom... I did get my levels up with the shots but I stopped doing it.

Afterwards, there was some problems with drugs & petfood from China so I was hesitant to reorder it.

From what I've read, the only way to get your levels up is to do it via shots. It's expensive if you get the actual prescription form from the US.

I didn't notice a big difference in my health. There are studies about it in relationship to Fibromyalgia. I probably would have continued it if it wasn't so expensive.

It's hard to say what the long term effects will be from taking the shots. That was another reason why I didn't want to continue.

My current doctor has offered me a new prescription if I want to continue. I think there are things out in the market that are supposed to boost your levels. I'm not sure how effective they are.

There's a big market for this for people who are into life extension. They say it makes you feel young but if may be the placebo effect. I'm not sure it's worth it.

I think sleep plays a role in growth hormone production, too. You may want to look into that further.

FYI - (I don't sell products & I haven't tried these things.)

MUCUNA PRURIENS (Velvet Bean)

Mucuna: Human Growth Hormone

L- Dopa contains natural secretagogues which may support the body's ability to stimulate the natural release of growth hormone. The blood carries the dopamine into the brain, where it naturally increases HGH production from the pituitary gland.

The increased dopamine levels also optimize the production of other hormones, including testosterone, leading to increased sex drive and improved sexual performance for both men and women, beneficial in stimulating muscle growth, as well as burning fat from fat cells.

VesPro GHS is a growth hormone secretagogue, (a substance that stimulates healthy secretion) made from protein, amino acids, and herbs. When taken at night before bed, VesPro GHS promotes restorative sleep and the proper production of essential growth hormones.
