Not completely for the seeking Dr forum...more opinion seeking here.
I am wondering if there is currently a very well respected Lyme Doc that is worth travelling for?...a sort of current Burrascanno.
I know many people love their own LLMD but I am thinking of a top Lyme Doc who would is an established veteran at this point...and treats with abx...not herbal remedies.
If anyone can name me any "gurus" I'd really appreciate a PM.
Thanks a lot.

Dr. J formerly of SC and now in DC. IMO by far the best.

Dr J better than Dr H?

I think they both are wonderful so that is just my opinion.

Dr. J in CT, Dr. J in DC, Dr. H, New York. Dr. K, Washington State, GS, N.P. CA Dr. R MO Dr. R NY Dr. F NJ Dr. B NJ Dr. G CA
That's just a few. I have a list. They aren't in any particular order though. I compiled a top 21 list a year ago based soley on the amount of patient reports which were positive. Many good doctors of equal competence are out there, I just didn't have the reports to compare, thus they were left out.

"Dr. B NJ"
I thought I knew all the LLMD's in NJ but my mind is drawing a blank on this one. Can you PM me, Metallic?

Dr R in MO? Not in my book.
It would have to be Dr C in MO.

Dr. C in MO is also on my list Lymetoo. But so was Dr. R in MO.
Jenny, your mailbox is full. Dr. B in NJ specializes in Neuropsychiatric tick-born diseases, especially Lyme Disease.

Thanks Metallic, I cleared out a few messages.
I am still drawing a blank so if you can PM me I'd be much obliged.

Thanks for all the replies and PMs. A couple of you have full mailboxes but I'm looking into a few docs I've been referred to.

Dr. B. in NJ is not a LLMD...
Recommend Dr. U. in NJ.

Dr. R in NY is so-so at best.
Light, can you pm me about Dr. U if you get a moment.
Thanks.

A lot of people have different opinions, so the final decision is ultimately yours.
Dr. B in NJ is an LLMD. He's a member & president Of ILADS. You can check ILADS.org to confirm.

Can someone PM me who has been on IV antibiotics with Dr. J in washington Dc?
Posted by hadlyme (Member # 6364) on :
I went to Dr. H in NY the first time.
I like my Dr. F in AZ better.
Posted by seekhelp (Member # 15067) on :
Hadlyme, you answered my question in another thread here. I was wondering if it was Dr. H you saw originally. I hate to hear stories that people got damaged like this.
I'd like AZ better just for the weather!!
