My daughter is suffering from brain fog which appears to be a fairly new symptom.

Is there anything that can help clear this?

Thanks,

Deb G

doxycycline helps mine but doesn't fully kill it. Seeing an LLMD this week, hopefully I can get some factive or levofloxacin or something to help finish it off.

If you're asking about herbs or supplements or something I'm afraid I can't help.

Thank Dave...right now she is on Mino which is similiar...hate not knowing if its die-off or flareup or what the heck is causing it.

Yea I think I am looking for herbs or supplements..I might have found something by doing a search earlier..thanks...

Try clearing the candida/yeast.
Many find release of bran fog when this is addressed.
There are many remedies for detoxing it.
IF heavy metals are involved, removing them helps the candida release. It's individual and it would be good to see a ND who understands detox of the candida effect of abx!

Detox, detox. Brain fog can be a symptom of toxin overload from die off.

Mino has a side effect of derealization - nothing seems real. If it is stopped, the side effect should leave.

Our LLMD recommended and worked well:
Activated charcoal detoxes well, here is a link on it: http://www.truthaboutlymedisease.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=286

Also the olive oil/lemon drink I like a lot:
Blend one whole lemon (rind and all)
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Strain and drink

Make sure to check with your doctor before using anything suggested here.

600mg Alpha Lipoic Acid and 1200 Acetyl L Carnitine is recommended for detoxing and brain fog. Also fish oil and B complex with additional B12. Co enzyme Q10 is very good and grape seed extract. Huperzine also helps brain cognition and memory.

Brain Fog can be caused by sooooo many things

Yeast
Detox
Adrenals
Thyroid
Medications

Try to address every issue as best as you can... and continue treatment.

We've all been there.

My husband has had tremendous success eliminating his brain fog on Doxy and Tindamax.

What abx is she on? Doxy did help with mine, but I think I will need to finish bart treatment for it to totally clear.

Treating bart really helped me. I used Bactrim and Rifampin to treat it.
