Hi Everyone!

My doc says mycos are high (526) on my latest lab tests. Not surprised, since my appendix ruptured in Oct 09. Doc wants me to take doxy. I've been off abx almost 3 years now and don't want to take them again if I can get around it. Certain NOT doxy; it tears me up. I can take Mino, but just don't want to do it.

Any suggestions for lowering mycos without abx? Appreciate all input here.

I would certainly take the Minocin. Levaquin, Cipro, also are great for Myco.

Myco is not something to screw around with. You will be happy you did it.

Thanks myco and keebler. I know of Dr. Nicholson and have read a lot of his work. Thanks for the link.

myco - You're right, mycoplasma is nothing to fool around with. However, since I was on abx for over 5 years and then all the abx in this hospital (where I think I re-acquired the infection), including IV Vancomycin, I'm not anxious to get back on abx. I will be picking up my rx on Friday and will consider further what to do from there.

keebler - Very interesting some of the studies being done. Researching herbals and other ways of reducing myco load. Any more thoughts that come your way, please share.

Since I've been on PSP (A.I. Therapy), I'd like to hold off on any chemical interference and get the myco level re-checked in about a month. Meanwhile, eating lots of chlorella (for metals draining) and my diet is excellent. Would like to see if my immune system can work this, as it did with walling off my burst appendix as an abscess.

i have been on artemesinin and adriographis (interfase) as per DK for 7 weeks. i looked at my blood under darkfield microscopy and say a lot of HM in the RBC. i then started AI and had a repeat darkfield microscopy view and the ND said there was much mycoplasma released and no HM in my blood.

i am having a repeat darkfield peek tomorrow to see what is happening. i'm really curious.

Thanks aliyalex!!! [Smile] This confirms a hunch that I've had since getting my test results. I think I'm going to wait this out and see if AI and my immune system take care of it.

Just at the time when I might be getting some real results with A.I., I don't want to go back on abx... Five years of that was quite enough. Might have to do it again someday, but not today.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR RESULTS ARE FROM ND TOMORROW? If you would, this could be most helpful.
