My neck has been hurting pretty constantly for about 2 months now.

I have noticed in the last week though that it almost feels like my glands or lymph nodes are hurting.

I can palpate them and feel them just a bit but no major swelling.

I just had a bunch of labs ran yesterday by GP because I needed my iron checked again. I had him throw in a CBC too to look for any infection. Haven't gotten results back yet.

Is it common to have this swollen feeling with lyme? I never had this in my first round.

I am currently off all abx due to terrible psych herx. Just taking bur bur, parsley and GSH.

Supposed to be taking low dos naltroxene (sp.) but a little afraid of it.

Any info on the neck thing would be appreciated. I can't tell if it's really glands or just muscle pain.

The good news is the anxiety is way more tolerable and now just dealing with a bit of depression.

Thanks my dear friends, kitkat

I do have the swollen glands and neck pain as well. My ear even hurts from the swollen lymph nodes.

Keep detoxing to help the lymph nodes drain.

My glands feel swollen almost all the time. My ears hurt too from time to time. I think this can be a lyme or a bart symptom. Also the back of my neck where it meets the skull hurts. These seem to be common symptoms!

I have that feeling sometimes too. I don't think my glands really are swollen.

I think that my neck pain creates the feeling of them being tender and swollen.

It could be either case, though.

Thanks for your replies.

It really is hurting bad today along with my usual headache.

I am detoxing with bur bur, parsley, and GSH. Drinking tons of lemon water.

I just feel awful.

Thanks again, kitkat

Thank you Carol,

I will check out the websites.

I really can't tell if it's lymph nodes or neck pain. Arghhh....all this is really getting to me again.

blessings, kitkat

I totally understand the neck pain and headache and how awful it can be, especially when it never goes away.

When I got back on doxy and plaquenil at the end of October, my neck and head pain started to get better.

I went from feeling like I had 3 vise grips around my head/neck and shoulders to having the feeling of one vise grip now and much less headache.

It's been slow since Oct, but definitely improving.

Hope it improves for you soon.

Oh yeah forgot to add that this past summer I had similar sx which became horrendous - I think it had been a sinus infection all along..only treatment..nasal flushes + symptomatic relief, no meds. died down eventually.
