I was soaking up sun in the window today and I noticed when I closed my eyes-

it was very different than what it used to look like.

With eyes closed and facing sun it has changed colors! You will see image your brain perceives.

It used to be a circle of white surrounded by orange/red....

Now it is a circle of the most beautiful cornflower blue surrounded by pea green.

I had my hubby try it -his is like mine used to be.

Will get on it with the rest of the family tommorrow. If you get a chance to just check it out for yourself-give it a try.

I know Lyme messes with our eyes bad and this may be another clue that the nerves are not transmitting to the brain like it should be.

Your topic intrigues (the blue color) me since I have had a strange eye issue off and on from lyme disease. When I go out on a sunny day and sometimes if the room is bright and sunny I see beautiful periwinkle dots all over everything. The first time I noticed this was when I walked outside with a bunch of family members on a bright sunny day and I commented about all the beautiful purple flowers all over the grass. No one else saw them but me. I actually tried to pick one of them only to realize that I was either hulucinating or my eyesight was drastically affected by the lyme. Lyme has cause many severe eye issues with me. As I am improving, I don't see the purple dots anymore. I will try to shut my eyes at my lunch break today........if the sun is out and see what happens.

That is interesting.

In the past several months, I have had days where my two eyes seem to see colors differently, if that makes sense.

I have a lazy/bad eye that has never really worked, and I have nnoticed that if I close my good eye, sometimes colors are either brighter or duller with my bad eye.

I have seen a number of eye doctors, and none of them can figure it out.

Thanks for trying. You know how they feel about

percentages. If we could figure the percent of

colors found with the percent of lymies, we may

have something we could use. From what little

research I can gather blue/green and purple are rare.

When my youngest first began talking, he always asked about what the floating colored balls were. He would see them all the time, different colors on different days. We called them his angels.

When he got a little older, he had a hard time learning his colors. Turns out he is color blind.

Makes me wonder if it is Lyme related at all.

I still see the white yellow,Pinelady. Thank you for posting such an interesting idea. I want to see the blue!
