Paul,

That is so great that you have a new sauna. Ahhhh.

About the FA, I hate to post a caution as I've had adverse reactions from tiny doses of things most here can pop like candy. However, just in case, it is important to consider that, at least there is one person (myself) for whom Fulvic Acid was a disaster. I took it at a time when my body was highly reactive to everything and I was having seizures all the time, anyway.

But, in my case, Fulvic Acid lowered the seizure threshold to zip - it was as if my nerves had absolutely no protective coating at all. So, for others, it could possibly cause some irritation or agitation of the nervous system. On paper, this looks fabulous as a detox agent. But my liver just doesn't work like it should.

As long as you start with a very low dose, at a time when you don't have to go out for a while, it's benefits might come to you. Just start low and slow. And with lots of water.

As I recall, it was straight powder (but with some sort of sugar in the formula to actually attract yeast and the FA was then to blast yeast) . . . I used about 1/2 tsp. - it was according to directions but, still, way too much. At that time, though, I just keep sticking to directions and had not yet learned to adapt for my personal differences.

As I had been taking it for candida at that time, I just had to stop. However, I found that Olive Leaf Extract worked far better for my purposes and that also had a far broader reach.

I don't recall the brand. I was just searching on that a bit and see that it's also used for heavy metal detox. So, since I now know that you can't just jump into that without things to balance it all out - the metals part might have been too much.

If this is part of a metals-detox for you, be sure you have a complete plan and go slowly.

I will search a bit more to see if the kind I used is still on the market so you can be comparing the same thing. It's been several years but I do recall it contained only Fulvic Acid, some sort of special sugar and either some sort of powdered vinegar or it tasted like vinegar when added to water.

The sugar was supposed to feed candida in my gut and then the FA was supposed to actually make the candida explode. Guess I just couldn't handle that kind of action. And - it is likely that your FA is not the same formula.

While packaging can change over time, then it came in a white plastic canister about the size of a grapefruit, with a black top.

=======

I can't find the brand. Sorry.
