I too drink alot of green tea but lately it (the tea) has been irritating my stomach.

Alot of water as well.

I like HEED by Hammer Nutrition. A good low, low sugar (2 grams per "scoop" - 16 oz. serving)electroyte sports drink. It had a very light taste to it and lots of good electo.'s.

Me too..green tea irritates my stomach, but I wish i could tolerate it..seems like it's good for you!

thanks both of you!

So I am not the only one who get stomach issues from green tea???

I notice that when I drink too much the acid reflux begins -plus I have a hietal hernia which does not help matters!

I get tired of plain old water and really like the HEED..you might want to check it out.. TG

"White Tea with Pomegranate" - A Google search brings up many choices.

"Trader Joe's Pomegranate White Tea" is very nice (and I add more pomegranate juice to it).

Pomegranate Juice - cut with water and add stevia, & a slice of orange or lemon. Trader Joe's has an organic one in glass bottle. Very rich.

"Hibiscus Tea" is also wonderful, hot or cold. Very special all year long, hot or cold. Hibiscus Tea also has some nice health benefits. Just search through Google to learn more.

I find its flavor is simply unsurpassed. I'd forgotten about it for a long time as I'd not been able to get it from my market. It's rather pricey, buying in bulk is most cost effective.

Thanks for sparking my memory of this extraordinary delight.

Water...lay off the green tea with the caffeine and take capsules. Or drink decaf green teas, caffeine is a bad idea if you have Lyme.

Make sure if you do lemon water it is enough lemon. I had to work up to one or two full lemons per 16 oz of water to feel it helping at all.

I used to balk at it and now I like it a lot. and it now helps...

Just an idea... we all say lemon and water and that could mean anything..

Right?

I found distilled water (buy it gallon jugs) very helpful to detoxing during those highly toxic days called herxing.

Yes distilled water will remove minerals and they will need to be replaced. But the benefits for me far outweighed anythig.

I would drink one gallon for 3-4 days in a row to get me through the worst of the flare. Then back to filtered water and trace minerals.

I always think water is best and that it's what our bodies need most. Good clean filtered water. Fresh lemon squeezed in there makes it even better.

Next would be green tea.

Those are my two drinks, aside from a little kefir every day or two.

Thank you all for your responses. I did try some decaf Green Tea today. Need to revisit Kefir too.

White tea? Might be a winner too. Great suggestions, thanks. This herxing is killing me!

That's good. Milk is not good for you and juices contain too much sugar.
